My MK-I is the second MR-2 I've owned. It has original paint, with very straight body, everything stock! Only things changed are MR-S wheels, Razo ball-shaped shifter, and Pioneer CD deck. It's got 165,000 miles. One fun ride! Comments: There's a little story behind this second MR-2. I sold my first one to a nice couple who came down from Washington starting out in California. The guy actually has a red MK-I, too, and wanted to get a matching one for his girl. Due to being touched by that bit of sweet corniness, I gave them a generous discount, and threw in the Sony Xplod CD deck and bra(never used) =p After parted from my beloved MR-2 for a while , I started itching, again. I was thinking of getting either a S2000 or Miata for a change, but it was like destiny when I found another MK-I in OC's Craigslist within 6 months. It's even better than the first one. The previous owner said I was lucky to respond him by phone because a lot of people e-mailed him showing interest, but because he hardly checks e-mail so it was meant to be mine. This is truly a great find. I think I'll keep it forever =) |
